DU Gymnastics Moves Back Up to No. 8

DENVER – The University of Denver gymnastics team is ranked No. 8 in the Week 4 Road to Nationals rankings, which were released on Monday.

TEAM NATIONAL RANKINGS
Overall: no. 8 (197.069 average)
Vault: no. 8 (49.269)
bars: tie-No. 8 (49.294)
Beam: no. 8 (49.281)
floor: no. 20 (49.225)

Denver improved its ranking by a spot following its 197.425 against Oklahoma on January 29, which tied the 10th-highest score in program history. The team also boosted its floor ranking by three spots after hitting a season-best 49.400 on the event in the OU meet.

INDIVIDUAL NATIONAL RANKINGS
Junior Jessica Hutchinson

Beam: tie-No. 13 (9.906)
Floor: tie-No. 23 (9.900)

Graduate Student Lynnzee Brown

Vault: tie-No. 14 (9.900)

Freshman Kiley Rorich

Bars: tie-No. 19 (9.900)

Hutchinson maintains her top-25 rankings on beam and floor, events she has been ranked on all season. Brown makes her first appearance in the rankings this year after making her season debut on vault. Rorich enters the rankings for the first time in her career after her collegiate debut on bars on January 29.

no. 8 Denver hosts its only quad meet of the regular season at home when it welcomes George Washington, Pittsburgh and Air Force on Sunday, February 5, at 1:45 pm MT.
