As part of their Discovery Series, the La Jolla Music Society presents violinist Johan Dalene and pianist Giorgi Gigashvili in concert at 3 pm today.
The award-winning young musicians have been playing in Europe and are now touring the world to showcase their talents as they take on various works in the classical cannon.

San Diego Jewish Film Festival Preview Day
Feel like a VIP by heading to the San Diego Jewish Film Festival Preview Day at 11 am today at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla.

‘El Huracán’ at the Cygnet Theater in Old Town
Don’t miss the compelling and powerful family drama, “El Huracán,” now through Feb. 19 at the Cygnet Theater in Old Town.
The show tells the story of family and forgiveness that follows four generations of Latina women through an epic hurricane in Miami.

National Geographic’s ‘Beyond King Tut’
National Geographic’s “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience” is taking San Diego by storm, now through March 26.
The large scale event is happening at the Wyland Center at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard.
The hour-long experience promises to go beyond King Tut’s famous mask, delving into one of the world’s most legendary leaders. No artifacts, but stunning cinematic effects bring visitors to Egypt to explore the life and death of Tutankhamun.

SD Regional Chamber 152nd anniversary
The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 152nd anniversary with a spectacular event Feb. 9 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
More than 700 of San Diego’s business executives, community leaders, and elected officials will gather to network and build relationships while honoring two individuals who have been exceptional leaders in efforts that help make the San Diego region the best place to live and work.
Peter Seidler, chairman of the San Diego Padres, will receive the Herb Klein Spirit of San Diego Award and Kimberly Becker, president/CEO of the San Diego Regional Airport Authority, will receive the Moving San Diego Forward Award.
