The University of Miami on Monday released its spring football schedule on social media — with a twist.

This year’s spring game, traditionally on a Saturday, will be Friday, April 14, likely at night, although details — including the site — are expected to be announced soon.

Last year’s spring game, open to the public, was at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, where Inter Miami plays, and the same general location as the former Lockhart Stadium.

The 15 days of Hurricanes spring practice begins on Saturday, March 4, and concludes with the spring game. Practices will take place on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The dates: March 4, 7, 9, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30; April 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13 and the spring-game finale.

Last year the ACC Network televised the spring game.

Practice sessions are usually closed to the public, although UM sometimes has special dates reserved for alumni.

The ACC Network will announce the composite league football schedule beginning at 7 pm Monday.
