Spring Session Registration Has Opened – Pasadena Weekendr

Theater 360 in Pasadena has opened the registration period for its “Spring Session 2023: And Scene!” acting workshop, which begins on Monday, Jan. 9.

Sessions are from 3:45 to 5:15 pm every Monday through April – a total of 16 weeks. Theater 360 says participants should be aware they’re signing up for the full 16-week program when they register.

“And scene!” is for ages 8 to 12.

“We begin with ensemble building games, story structure exercises, and then scene work,” Theater 360 says on the program’s webpage. “Learn how to work with scene partners while bringing characters to life with vivid, compelling, personal choices. Assigned scenes will be given to encourage and stretch our young actors in good storytelling.”

During the course, each student will learn to focus and support other actors in a scene while learning to give a unique and distinctive performance that will make them stand out. The class is essential for kids desiring to build skills in becoming a strong actor, the announcement said.
