Warangal: Thief falls into well while fleeing from SR Engineering College Hostel robbery

Hanamkonda: Tension escalated after thieves have repeatedly broken into the girls’ hostel of SR Engineering College in Anantasagar, Hasan Parthi Mandal of Warangal district for four consecutive days. On Sunday morning, the perpetrators entered the hostel rooms and stole students’ cell phones and laptops. The students have expressed concern over the lack of security in the girls’ hostel and the fact that thefts have occurred for four days in a row.

However, one of the thieves who committed the robbery on Sunday was apprehended when he fell into an agricultural well while trying to escape. Students reported that three cell phones and one laptop were stolen from the hostel. The police rescued the thief from the well and arrested him, along with another accomplice. They were then taken to the Hasan Parthi Police Station.
